1. Project Abstract
This project aims to significantly minimize emergency response times and save lives on highways by introducing an integrated, intelligent system driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Mobile Application technologies. The system automatically detects road accidents the moment they occur through real-time surveillance analysis using the advancedComputer Vision Swin Transformer.
Once an incident is confirmed, the system syncs instantly with a dedicated mobile application that serves as the core dispatch hub. This application automatically routes instant emergency alerts containing precise GPS locations, timestamps, and severity details to first responders and emergency services. Users and administrators can securely register and log into the application using either automated API-based facial verification (Face API) or standard manual data entry. Furthermore, the application features an automated logging system where every detected accident is written, recorded, and uploaded onto the platform as a comprehensive digital report of the event to facilitate subsequent tracking and analysis.
2. Project Objectives
Minimize Emergency Response Times: Drastically reduce the gap between the occurrence of an accident and the arrival of medical assistance, directly contributing to saving lives.
Full Automation of Alerts: Eliminate reliance on human witnesses or bystanders for accident reporting, ensuring that dispatch logs are triggered immediately and automated upon incident confirmation.
High-Accuracy Detection: Leverage advanced deep learning architectures to ensure high spatial awareness, distinguishing accurately between real accidents and normal traffic conditions to minimize false alarms.
Flexible and Secure Registration: Facilitate user and admin authentication through diverse options, integrating facial recognition APIs alongside traditional manual inputs for maximum versatility and security.
Establish a Documented Digital Ledger: Automatically archive and upload comprehensive accident reports (including telemetry data and visual logs) on the application for immediate reference by authorized agencies.
